![]() I wasn’t sure which linux audio system nomachine uses, but found this recent post – – and ran the NX sound setup and ensured that pulseaudio was running. In all cases, I can get alsamixer to configure and aplayer to play stuff to the relevant device but nomachine’s sound settings don’t offer any devices in the drop-down lists for speakers and mic selection and there is no sound. I’ve tried the built-in analogue audio, HDMI audio and a USB (C108) sound device. They can also be used as thin clients, NAS storage devices, a file server and even as a home media. And the price is right NX Client is free. The range of client platforms is even wider, including all those Linux systems plus Windows 9x/NT/2000/XP, iPaq and Zaurus 5xxx handhelds, and even PlayStation 2. 3) Create the compressed archives of logs. NoMachine has server editions for personal, small business, and enterprise use on Red Hat, SuSE, Mandrake, Debian, and United Linux. rather than the NoMachine server/client app, either for the occasion when regulatory requirements dictate that thin clients must install client-side. The Win10 machine shows the volume muted initially for a device “NoMachine microphone adapter” whether this is muted or at full volume makes no difference to the lack of sound on the Pi. Since the thin clients of cause does not have access to write anything permanent to the boot image, everytime a thin client starts up, and a user logs in, the info screens are shown. These are the general steps to collect and send logs: 1) Set debug log level manually. I decided to try NoMachine and it seems to be working very well windows-to-windows and for most purposes on the Pi3 (Debian Jessie) vs a Windows 10 remote.
